We visited Berlin as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) and stayed at this lovely hotel where all the staff are extremely polite, friendly, professional and helpful! The people on the front desk were very welcoming and were able to help whenever we had a question. The room was much bigger than we expected and everything was so clean! Our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom, although a little small, was perfectly adequate. The only thing that was a slight negative is that we were expecting 2 single beds for the teenagers but it was a sofa bed instead and was not comfortable at all (I've never found a sofa bed that is) which was a shame as we did SO much walking during the day, it would have been nice for them to get a comfortable night's sleep. Housekeeping came and cleaned the room every 2 days, those that we saw always had a cheerful greeting for us and did a lovely job. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice - literally something for everyone - and all the food was very tasty. A very good selection of cooked and cold meats, eggs, toast, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries, juice, teas, coffee etc. Brenda, in the breakfast restaurant, always had a smile for all the guests. There is a tram literally around the corner and it only takes about 13 minutes to get to Alexanderplatz with great transport connexions. We never waited more than a few minutes for a tram or a train. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel and would definitely stay here again if we got the chance.

The room is immaculate, cleaned every 2 days, great shower, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on honestly, great location to the nearest metro line (m5 takes you downtown to Alexanderplatz). Lovely breakfast served before 10.30. The loveliest seating area downstairs beside reception where you can order a variety of drinks. The staff are on another level, the friendliest most helpful folk (or volk) you could ever wish to meet from the moment you arrive you'll be given the best hospitality you've ever had. If I return to Berlin I will return to easy they make your stay special. Danke

Amazing experience at a wonderful well-priced boutique hotel

Love, love, love this well-appointed boutique hotel. This is the perfect example why a moderately priced hotel can also offer an amazing customer experience. I’ve traveled in 62 countries and stayed at countless hotels, and this day was extraordinarily comfortable, with a warm, welcoming attentive staff. The Vienna house should act as a blueprint for moderate priced hotels. I stayed here during ITB, the worlds largest Travel show with more than 200,000 people to on during the week. He didn’t feel the crowds, or any pressure coming back to the sanctuary. The breakfast is sumptuous, with many fresh and healthy choices. The room is well-appointed, quiet and the bed was so very comfortable. The shower was a delight, and I’m so very glad that I chose this hotel in this convenient area. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will most certainly be back!

Room is good size, large window with motorized blind (control beside the door entrance). However bathroom is tiny. Shower gel was empty. Had to go downstairs ask for it. Phone system was down too. The worse was zero housekeeping. Came back from a whole day tour and room was not done at all. Absolutely disappointed. Breakfast was ok. Bed quality was ok. Average quality.

Vienna House Easy is a pleasant little hotel, the ‘cheap and cheerful’ cousin of the bigger and grander Vienna House across the street. The hotel has a relaxed, modern vibe, with a café/bar on the ground floor next to the reception. Hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. Our ‘family-sized’ room was not large, as you would expect with a hotel of this class, but large enough for the four of us (2 adults, 2 children) to stay in reasonable comfort. The room, including the bathroom, was clean and bright and well-appointed with closets, a table and chairs. The breakfast buffet was great and well worth the extra cost. A few things irritated: the shower was a bit ‘freeze or fry’; the hallway had an odd smell; and the hanging lamp next to the bed was missing its light bulb. I mentioned the missing light bulb at reception but they did not manage to install a new bulb during our short stay. They did, however, fix a leak in the shower head when I mentioned it (twice) at reception. These minor irritants, however, did not take away from our overall positive impression of the hotel. The location is next to nothing other than the S-Bahn and Tram lines, but these will get you into town quickly enough. The name says Prenzlauer Berg, but it’s more on the border between PB and Friedrichshain. Restaurants and bars require at least a 10 minute walk or a ride on the tram. The location did not bother us, though, as we were able to get easily to wherever we wanted to go. I recommend getting a multi-day pass on the public transportation network BVG - it makes getting around town super easy.
